Social Media for Social Good Academy is open! Will you be one of my students? Click here to find out more.

I get it! You may have to convince your boss or your Board to shell out the money for Social Media for Social Good Academy.

And that is no easy feat. How do they know that it will get the results promised?

Let me tell you a story.

When I was in high school, in order to take the car, or even to just go out for the evening, I had to present my father with a detailed 5-point plan, answering the following questions.

  1. Who else will be there?
  2. Where will we be?
  3. What will we be doing?
  4. How will I get home safely?
  5. What happens if he needs to reach me? (This is way before everyone had cell phones!)

I understand that asking for something and saying “BUT I really wannnnnnntttttttt it” is often not enough for data-driven, numbers people.

I respect that.

You know what I can help you accomplish.

But how to convince the boss?

Here are some ideas:

Share the Fine Print

LIFETIME, unfettered, all-inclusive access to the program. That means you can join each and every live training, the support community on Facebook, and download/access all the updated materials and resources as long as… well, as long as we do this thing!

A risk-free money-back guarantee. Decide up to 14 days into the program  in that this is not for you? No worries. I won’t ask questions and you will get your money back in full.

This Is Different

When you think “online course” do you think about a bunch of pre-recorded, on demand videos, and a long list of PDFs to download and print?

This is NOT that.

We will be together in a tight cohort for five full weeks, going step-by-step to create a social media playbook for your organization.

It’s Also (Much) Cheaper

Not only that, It’s MUCH cheaper than hiring an agency or a consultant. My starting rate for a half-day workshop is $3000.

Not to mention large agencies!

This is much more manageable for small nonprofits.

It Will Save Time (The Most Precious Resource)

It will save SO much time!

Having a plan and knowing what to prioritize – and what to jettison – as well as a step-by-step guide on HOW to do it will save you countless hours of Google searching, YouTube watching, and blog reading.

Access to Me

Throughout the program and for a month afterwards, I’ll be inside the Facebook Group, I’ll be available via email, I’ll be next to you so much you’ll get sick of me!

I Know Nonprofits

If you’ve read my full bio, you know that I practice what I preach.

This six-week live training program is the result of my 20 years of nonprofit experience, including 10 years speaking to and consulting with nonprofits of all sizes.

When All Else Fails, Bake Cookies

When in doubt, bake cookies. (Or buy them, let’s be real.)

Decorate them with social media logos.

Give them out at the next Board meeting.

Ask Board members to discuss their favorite social media channels, and why.

Remember if you have ANY questions at all, email me at julia@jcsocialmarketing.com and I’ll get back to you immediately!
