Daily Dose – Social Media Tip of the Day – Check out Pinterest  

By now I’m sure you’ve heard of Pinterest, one of the fastest growing social networking sites on the web.

Three reasons why you should check out Pinterest today:

It is growing at an exceptional rate. Pinterest does not currently release information on web traffic, but ComScore has estimated that the site had 1.2 million users in August 2011. In just a short time, it has exploded to over 4 million today.

It grabs users and keeps them interested. Pinterest keeps users engaged for long periods of time – about an hour and a half a week, and that’s on the conservative side! (I probably spend that much time on it per day!)

It’s fun! Incredibly easy to use and very addictive, Pinterest is a place to organize and share online images. I really wish that it had been around when I was planning my wedding, but now I use it to post social media infographics, ideas for my dream home office, books I want to read and craft ideas to try with my daughter.
