Today, TIME.com released their list of the 30 Best Pinners to Follow on Pinterest.
Categories include Food, Design/Art, Fashion, Lifestyle, Technology and Wedding.
According to TIME:
“Pinterest, the three-year-old photo-sharing site, can be an overwhelming place for the uninitiated. The website acts as a virtual pinboard, encouraging users to create themed collages by “pinning” their favorite items. A favorite of fashionistas and designers, the site now has more than 70 million users and continues to grow in popularity.
A Pinterest page is now de rigueur for fashion brands like J. Crew and Nordstrom, who have both used the site to boost sales and awareness.
That’s why TIME’s annual 30 Pinners to Follow list aims to cut through pinner glut and highlight expert curators in a variety of popular fields: food, fashion, technology, design, lifestyle and weddings.”
Great idea – but the problem is, those aren’t the only relevant categories on Pinterest!
What about all the amazing social causes and nonprofit professionals pinning great stuff on Pinterest?
I think they should have a category also.
