Who are the best nonprofits on Pinterest?

Today, TIME.com released their list of the 30 Best Pinners to Follow on Pinterest.

Categories include Food, Design/Art, Fashion, Lifestyle, Technology and Wedding.

According to TIME:

β€œPinterest,Β the three-year-old photo-sharing site,Β can be an overwhelming place for the uninitiated. The website acts as a virtual pinboard, encouraging users to create themed collages by β€œpinning” their favorite items. Β A favorite of fashionistas and designers, the site now has more thanΒ 70 million usersΒ and continues to grow in popularity.

A Pinterest page is now de rigueur for fashion brands likeΒ J. CrewΒ andΒ Nordstrom, who have both usedΒ the siteΒ to boost sales and awareness.

That’s why TIME’s annual 30 Pinners to Follow list aims to cut through pinner glut and highlight expert curators in a variety of popular fields: food, fashion, technology, design, lifestyle and weddings.”

Great idea – but the problem is, those aren’t the only relevant categories on Pinterest!

What about all the amazing social causes and nonprofit professionals pinning great stuff on Pinterest?

I think they should have a category also.

Here are a few ideas for the Best Nonprofit Pinners list:
